Sta

Sithandazile Kuzviwanza
is a 17 year old aspiring lawyer and in her last year of secondary studies. Sithandazile, known by her friends and family as Sta, was born in Zimbabwe and immigrated with her family when she was 8 years old in hopes of realizing the Canadian dream. Sta will be pursuing post-secondary studies in the Social Sciences next year and hopes to begin her law studies in 2015 in order to facilitate her dream of becoming an advocate for justice in all its forms.
Sta’s dreams are equally matched by her accomplishments; she has a well-developed understanding of what it takes to excel in both her work at school and in the community. Earlier this year, Sta earned distinction as a lawyer in her first mock-trial in the Ontario Judge’s Cup and she has consistently made the honour roll each year in high school. As a student, Sta’s accolades include being a class Valedictorian, being elected President of her school board’s Presidents’ Council, and currently being the Vice President of St. Robert Catholic High School’s Student Council. Sta will be graduating from her school’s fifth class of the rigorous International Baccalaureate Programme and as a provincial award-winning debater and mock United Nations leader.  Her tenacious yet compassionate spirit is contagious!
